Overview: Discover the fascinating world of fungi in this hands-on workshop that blends science, sustainability, and creativity. All Caps founder Felipe Martin will begin with an introduction to mushroom biology and cultivation, followed by a practical session on creating your own cultivation blocks. After a shared lunch break (certainly a mushroom-inspired meal), you’ll learn how to transform fungal materials into unique, eco-friendly paper. The day wraps up with an open Q&A with Felipe.

About All Caps
At Maryland-based All Caps Farm, the work goes far beyond cultivating and selling mushrooms. Through “Mush Hub” program, the All Caps team is actively advancing the field of myco-innovation—developing new ways to use fungi as tools for creative, scientific, and technological advancement. From transforming mycelium into paper, ink, and tinctures, to experimenting with fungal weaving and bio-based materials, there are endless possibilities to reimagine what mushrooms can do and where they can take us.
