Leland is a restoration ecologist based in Zürich, Switzerland. His research interests are focused on developing tools to restore degraded forests in the Northeastern US, as well as Mexico, Costa Rica, and Hawaii.

Mary Ellen is a botanical artist based in London and, like Helen, Diploma in Botanical Painting at the English Gardening School located in the Chelsea Physic Garden.
