Greenhouse Manager

Natalie Carver joined the Oak Spring team in February 2022 as the Greenhouse Manager.

Natalie was raised in Arlington, Virginia. She went to university and first started farming in British Columbia before spending several years urban farming in Washington, DC. At Oak Spring, Natalie propagates vegetable and perennial seedlings for the Biocultural Conservation Farm (BCCF) and also manages production in our high tunnel.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys having dinner parties on the deck, hiking at Sky Meadows State Park, and listening to vinyl records. Her favorite plant is Northern Sea Oats (Chasmanthium latifolium) for how it dances in the wind.
