Head Carpenter

Fred Griffith is Head Carpenter at the Oak Spring Garden Foundation. Originally from Halfway, Virginia, he has been working at Oak Spring since July 1980. In addition to carpentry work, Fred coordinates building projects throughout the property. In his free time, he enjoys antiquing and spending time with his wife and family. His favorite plants are orchids.
