James Adelman

Residency and Fellowship Coordinator

James Adelman has been the Residency and Fellowship Coordinator at OSGF since March, 2024. As the primary point of contact and administrator of Residency and Fellowship programs, James lives on site welcoming diverse groups of artists, writers, researchers, ecologists, and other disciplines to a warm, inclusive atmosphere which supports their work in every way possible. He connects residents to the dynamic individuals and resources found at Oak Spring and facilitates interaction between eclectic spheres of knowledge while ensuring an exceptional environment and experience for all attendees. In his free time, James enjoys the company of others, leisurely bike rides, time in nature, daydreaming, quiet contemplation, the Simpsons, and of course painting and drawing. His favorite plants are marigolds and Douglas firs in snow.
